I’m a junior software developer from Van(couver) and I need an advice

As a recent graduate of a computer science program, I can confidently say that the past few years have been a rollercoaster ride of programming assignments, late-night coding sessions, and a plethora of new technologies to keep up with. However, as I embark on my journey in the tech industry, I can’t help but reflect on the things I wish I knew before diving into this field…

Fast forward to late 2022 to early 2023 as of this writing, unless you’ve been living under a rock, layoffs have been occurring at rapid rates at big tech companies and the job market is not as booming as it used to be…

Ok, enough preface, I’ll just get straight to the point and not just give generic advice.

1. Be more cognizant in choosing your last co-op/internship before graduating.
